The team at BAa is specialized in preparing and managing projects financed with European competitive funds for the Public Administration.

BAa counts with specific experience of more than five years supporting local entities applying for EU competitive funds calls (ERASMUS; LIFE; CREATIVE EUROPE; HORIZON EUROPE; CITIZENS, EQUALITY, RIGHTS AND VALUES; JUSTICE; etc.), as well as calls related to the European Territorial Cooperation Objective and the local development (FEDER, INTERREG, POCTEFA, Europe, Sudoe, Med and URBACT).

BAa services cover all phases of the project management cycle:

Identification of funds and calls
  • Identification of EU funding opportunities
  • Analysis of the objectives and requirements of the call
  • Support in the preliminary procedures required: definition of the research and/or funding strategy and compliance of the process at the EU Participant Portal (creation of account, Participant Identification Code (PIC) number and allocation of LEAR, Account Administrator, LSIGN, FSIGN and other roles)
  • Assessment of call suitability for each entity and success possibilities
Preparation of Grant Proposals
  • Advising and support with administrative procedures related to preparation of proposals: information gathering on participants, support to the design, writing and assessment of Gender Equality Plans in compliance with Horizon Europe eligibility criteria.
  • Partner search for consortium building
  • Technical proposal writing
  • Budget elaboration and administrative documentation preparation
  • Support with the proposal submission process
Management of grant projects
  • Analysis of the call’s specifications, terms of reference and applicable regulation
  • Design and elaboration of project management tools: guides, chronograms, control sheets, working plans and monitoring tools of the activities
  • Advice and assistance in the process of signature of the grant agreement and the consortium agreement
  • Support with reporting process and elaboration of other deliverables
  • Support with administrative and financial project management
